The giveaway is over!!  Random.org picked lucky number 3.

Which means Emily won! Congratulations Emily, enjoy your trip! I’ve sent you an email with the code.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Let’s kick off the launch of my new website with a giveaway, shall we?

I have $60.30 in Southwest LUV Voucher Funds that are set to expire on 3/25/2010.

Worse yet, all travel purchased with this voucher must be completed by the expiration date.

I know this is terribly short notice, but hopefully this post will drum up some interest out there in bloggyland, and find someone who can use it so it doesn’t expire! I had a friend all lined up to use the credit, but her plans fell through, so now I’m offering it to y’all!

I HATE to knowingly let coupons expire, and I would HATE to see this free voucher go to waste. Seriously, a little part of me dies every time I forget to use a “free” coupon before its expiration date.  So you know how this $60 credit must be tearing me up inside!

Simply leave a comment on this post if you are interested, letting me know when you plan on flying. If there is more than one comment, I will use a random number generator to select the winner!

Depending on the amount of people interested, I will end the giveaway either Saturday or Sunday.

Good luck!

PS: To all my Facebook friends, please GO HERE to enter the giveaway. Thanks!

UPDATE:  I will give away the code for the voucher at 5PM PST, TODAY (SUNDAY, 3/21). I will be using a random number generator to select the winner.  I will then email the code to the winner. Good luck!

could you buy a fully refundable fair then cancel it and have another 30 days or whatever to use the credit?

  2. Heather says:

Unfortunately, no. If you were to cancel, the only part that is refundable would be the non-voucher part. The only way to extend LUV vouchers is pay $50, which doesn’t make sense in this situation.

Bummer, that would have been awesome for last weekend!! I went to Louis and it cost me a fortune!! I saw your blog on FB and stumbled on here; I love the name!!

    Or St. Louis :)

  5. Heather says:

Oh man, too bad Carrie! I hate to see it go to waste. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment :)

actually, if you buy a new ticket with this voucher, then all the money you put in will all become non-refundable and also all will expire in March 25, 2010.

I would be very happy to be able to use the voucher! My little sis is getting married so I’m flying to OC on Tuesday….Being broke has its probs, but especially with family events because it’s hard to tell them “congrats, can you send me pics? I can barely pay rent!” lol. Hopefully it works out but if not, thanks for the chance to try!

I could really use the voucher to send my daughter to take a state exam, I hope that I win!

I am booking a flight tonight! Flying to L.A. to see my baby brother and his lovely wife! My travel is scheduled for 3/23 so I’m a whole two days earlier than the expiration. Thanks for this opportunity – beautiful site btw!
