For the second year in a row, some of the finer restaurants around the valley will be offering a 3-course meal for $29 per person, or $58 per couple.
The following link shows the participating restaurants in Phoenix. Click on the individual restuarants to see their fixed 3-course menu.
This year Arizona restaurant week will include restaurants in Tucson as well. Looks like they’re going to expand across the state in future years.
Last year I took my madre to Roaring Fork, and she and I both LOVED the green chile pork appetizer. I like the atmosphere at Roarking Fork, and I’ve since returned for their happy hour menu. The location is just a bit strange, as it looks like an office building complex. I also went to Deseo at The Westin Kierland with a girlfriend, and we got glammed up and had a fab time. The latin flavors were delicious, and the chocolate cigars for dessert stand out for some reason in my mind.
I’m not sure where I want to go this year. There are a few restaurants I’ve been wanting to try. I’m not normally a steakhouse person, but I’ve heard great things about Bourbon Steak (and their complimentary Duck Fat French Fries). It’s normally quite pricey, so this would be an opportunity to enjoy an otherwise very expensive restaurant. Not sure what I can talk Tony into
