Snow on Four Peaks

Yesterday I went hiking about 60 miles northeast of Phoenix on a snowcapped peak! I went with a motley crew of Intel-ites to Brown’s peak in the Four Peaks mountain range. We hiked just past the saddle of Brown’s Peak to the base of the Scree Chute – which was completely iced over and too dangerous to climb up. It was so nice to get outside and enjoy the fresh air and not have my nose stuck in a book (or a laptop)!

That looks like it was fun! I keep looking to see the snow caps on Four Peaks, here in the Phoenix area but I don’t see it yet. It is always so pretty!
