I got straight A’s!

Unfrigginbelievable. If there was ever a semester in graduate school in which I doubted myself more, this would be it.

And yet, I ended up with a 4.09 semester GPA. That’s right, bitches! (haha, sorry I’m a tad excited).  I even got an A+ in air quality engineering, the class which I toiled over for the past few weeks, giving up night after night of sleep to write a project term report.

I was pretty stoked yesterday when I received the following email from my professor:

I just wanted to congratulate you on an outstanding final paper for the air quality class.  Please let me know where you end up working.”

That is a HUGE compliment as it is, and then when I checked my grade and saw the A+ I was giddily happy.

I’m still scratching my head how I pulled an A in math, since I pretty much bombed every exam, but *shrug*, I got the highest grade in NC out of 20+ students in that class, so I certainly know the material.

Woot!! Time to go out and celebrate!

*That’s such a Awesome response! Here I was going to congratulate and be all impressed by heather’s accomplishments, but at last I was shown the way.*

*Heather I mean why didn’t you get more A+s? Only 1? Kinda disappointed, looks like ASU doesn’t use a 4.0 scale, so what is the true top grade?*

O and since this is text and you cant see how sarcastic I really am I will put this all in asterisks, to denote sarcasm

Ps. Yes I used spell check.

    Re: Nice

Yeah, word of advice, don’t follow David’s lead. He’s a total and complete schmuck sometimes. :P

Now I’m going to go cry myself to sleep. And yes I just woke up, but still. I’m hurt.

    (Just kidding).

ASU is on a +/- system. So was North Carolina. It’s still based on a 4.0 scale. You just get different points for A-‘s and B+’s, and so forth.

the same day. Then that night, they burned the wheel.
