Check out the book I just came across on Amazon: The Fibromyalgia Dental Handbook: A Practical Guide to Maintaining Peak Dental Health.

On the back cover, “If you’re one of the millions of people who suffer from Fibromyalgia (FMS), you are likely aware of the many oral complications that can often accompany the condition.” Um, no, I was never made aware of any oral symptoms common to Fibro patients! Interestingly, dry mouth, bad breath, burning mouth syndrome, and oral sores are all listed as common symptoms. It also covers FMS medications and their oral side effects. Wow. This condition gets more complicated the longer I have it, and the more I learn about it.

I do have constant dry mouth/major issues with swallowing. And now that I read about it, that is a very bad thing when it comes to tooth decay. Sigh. I need to drink more water.
