I ended my Thanksgiving weekend with a wonderful Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert (TSO) at the Glendale arena with Dad & Brooks. Nothing like getting rocked out by some long-haired Italian guitarists and a hyperactive English violinist. Picture a cross between Alice Cooper and Michael Corleone, and you have the lead guitarist from TSO. My favorite part of the show was during the encore, when the two pianists dueled it out. What a great way to kick off the holiday season. And thanks to 99.9 FM, non-stop Christmas music has begun playing in my car!

After taking such an extensive break, I have a feeling it’s going to be difficult getting back in the studying mode. I’d much rather be playing with my 3-year-old cousin. “Hi Header!”  “You be the kid and I’ll be the mommy.” “Let’s dance.”  “Clap for me family.” “See, I’m feeding my baby. (Oh my gosh, nothing like watching a 3-year-old breastfeed her stuffed penguin!)
